Horsin' Around Quilt

This is a really fun fabric line called "Horsin' Around."  I got the pattern at the first quilt retreat that I attended.  It used one layer cake.  (Click on photo to see the fabrics better.)
The quilting is done by my longarm quilter, Kathy Wolfe.  She does amazing work.
There are some really fun fabrics in this collection.
I used some of my extra layer cake pieces on the back. It looks pretty fun.
When I was making this quilt my thought was to give it to my #1 granddaughter.  Then I was afraid it was to masculine.  I thought about giving it to my grandson.  So I decided to ask my granddaughter what she thought of two of my quilts.  She said they were both pretty.  I asked her which one she liked best and she chose "Horsin' Around."  I guess I did "know" her after all!

That turned out so cute! I don't remember that line, but then again, I haven't been quilting all that long. I love your label too, and I have to ask you: Is it embroidered? What font is that? It looks great! Thanks so much - I'm betting your granddaughter treasures it!

Yep, sometimes instinct is the best way to go, turned out the jungle quilt made for granddaughter #1 was a good choice too, lol! Love your quilt - perfect for a young'un!
