Here is another of the self-binding receiving blankets. I think I would have liked it better if I had cut the Orange out to be 40 inches and the animals to be the smaller 30 inch piece. The dark bright orange might have looked better as the binding. I bought the fabric before I had ever made a blanket and didn't realize how the color would affect the look of the blanket. I still really like it. The animal fabric is really cute.

That is the funny thing about orange. It always seems to want to be the star of the show. The print is very cute. :)
Do you have a tutorial about how to make the recieving blankets? I'd love to see how to make them.
