
I haven't made it a practice to show pictures before the quilt is done, but I like to show you what I have been doing when it is taking so long to do. I had a hard time deciding what to quilt on this quilt. I was going to do flowers in the large diamonds. My sister convinced me that following the diamond pattern was what this quilt really wanted.

Here is a close up. I was trying to explain this pattern to another sister over the phone. That is really hard to do. A picture is worth a thousand words.

I did put flowers in the border. This isn't the final pattern. I did ribbons where the loop de loops are. I'll show that better in my final post of this quilt. It took about 20 hours to quilt.
