My nephew's wife made scripture bags like this to sell at our family reunion. I decided to make them for my grandchildren for Christmas.
She used ribbons for handles, but as I was making the bags, I put a set of scriptures inside. I realized the ribbons would not hold up very long, so I added regular handles made from cotton fabric.
The buttons add personality.

I also added a hard bottom to each bag made from plastic canvas.
I guess Christmas won't be much of a surprise to those who read my blog.
