Orphan Block Wall Hanging

I made this block to try out some quilting.  I was quilting a quilt and wanted to see how two different thread colors worked.

I used white thread for part of the quilting and off white for the other.  The off white thread showed up better. I have really fallen in love with e's and l's as a quilting design. Don't you just love them too. They are easy to quilt because we all have the design firmly in our heads already from writing them over and over all our lives.  Click on the picture to see it better.
