Help me Choose
I am doing the Moose on the Porch Layer Cake Quilt along. Last week the block given us was named "U Pick." The only problem is that it is to hard to pick. I am showing two pictures of arrangements. The blocks are not sewn. Will you help me? Which block arrangement would you choose? Please leave a comment to help me decide.

Hi Colleen! I'm making my block right now for this quilt a long, and I looked at my other blocks and have almost decided which version I'm making. A lot of my other blocks have a light contrast on the outer edges and I *think* I'm going to use a darker contrast for my sashing, so I think that I'm going with the block with more lighter fabric on the outer edges.
Having said all that, I like your second layout better cos its round'ish!
So hard to choose - they are BOTH lovely!
I think I am going to pick block #1. I like the lighter "airy" center. But again - both are lovely blocks!
I think that BOTH blocks are lovely!
But if I were to choose...I would go with block #1 because I love the airy open feel to it.
Again, they are both lovely...just follow your heart!

I like them both but prefer the top one. They look great. I hope to have mine done tonight.

Isn't it amazing how you get such different looks from the same basic pieces? My favorite is #2 because of the snowball look.
