This is my Leap Frog Quilt. This pattern was very simple strip piecing.

I stitched in the ditch before I added the other quilting.

For the back of the quilt, I used a verigated pink thread. When I hang the quilt, I want to hang it with the back showing because I am so pleased with my quilting.

I am trying to learn to do machine quilting on my own machine. I tried to choose a thread color that wouldn't show up to much so my mistakes wouldn't be to visible.

For the middle of the quilt, I used techniques from the book, "Free-Motion Quilting Made Easy" by Eva A. Larkin.

For the borders of the quilt, I used the techniques from "Quilting Dot to Dot" by Cheryl Barnes.

I have been studying machine quilting and am just beginning. I am very proud of this quilt even though it isn't perfect. I love the imperfections of my learning.
